It has been hotter than hot in Northern California and my kids were ready to do something fun. So when we were invited to come to the newest addition to the Great Wolf Lodge family, we just couldn't say no! A day of family fun & all the indoor water activities we could imagine? We were IN and made a beeline to Great Wolf Lodge, Northern California!
Just a short drive West of our house is the newest Great Wolf Lodge! I've always seen these resorts all over the US and so when I heard they were adding another one not too far from us, I was super excited! It's the perfect place for a weekend or even overnight mini vacay with the fam.
We decided to surprise the kids when we went and they were beyond excited when we arrived! The mountain lodge theming made us forget that it was about a million degrees outside & I'm sure you can imagine the wide-eyed looks on the kids' faces when they saw all the water slides!
Great Wolf Lodge, Northern California has 95,000 square feet of a variety of body slides, tube slides, raft rides and splash areas. Add to that a lazy river, wave pool, outdoor pool, and activity pool and my kids dreams came true.
From the moment we got there, we felt so special! The staff is so great and there are a TON of activities for kids! This is the dream resort if you've got little ones.
Honour & Lyric LOVED the lazy river and the wave pool while little Miss Freedom couldn't have been happier on the slides at the toddler pool.
Not only is there a ton of fun to be had in the water park, but there's also an adventure park, complete with a ropes course and mini golf, tons of tasty food options, and even yoga for the kids!
When we got up to our room, we were blown away by how nice it was! There are 6 of us, so we're always considering how spacious a room is and this room didn't disappoint. We were beyond comfortable and had so much fun with the mountain adventure theme!
